Latest: Following the 2014 Enabling Church conference, research on its impact was commissioned by Lichfield Diocese with support from the Saltley Trust.
Recordings were made of the most of the Plenary Session talks and of the dedicated Streams on Disability – Dementia – Deafness …
and the Stream for Families and Carers in partnership with Care for the Family.

Every local church needs to become an ‘enabling church’ that welcomes, includes and involves people with dementia, disability, deafness, their families and those that care for them. The programme involves a majority of speakers with direct experience of a range of disabilities, either for themselves or with close family members.
